Yo! Graffiti Grape Soda Float
This isn't your grandma's float; it's a vibrant, layered concoction that pops with the unapologetic energy of a fresh track drop. We're remixing classic flavors into something both nostalgic and undeniably fresh, a sweet homage to the era when hip-hop took over the airwaves.

Directions
- 1
In a small saucepan, combine the grapes, granulated sugar, lemon juice, and salt, then cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the grapes burst and soften, about 8-10 minutes.
- 2
Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract, then let the grape mixture cool slightly.
- 3
Carefully strain the grape mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a bowl, pressing gently on the solids to extract all the juice, then discard the solids.
- 4
Transfer the grape syrup to an airtight container and chill thoroughly in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, until completely cold.
- 5
To assemble each float, place one scoop of vanilla bean ice cream into a chilled 16-ounce glass.
- 6
Drizzle about 2 tablespoons of the chilled grape syrup over the ice cream.
- 7
Slowly pour 6 ounces of chilled sparkling grape juice over the ice cream and syrup, allowing the fizz to rise but not overflow, until the glass is almost full.
- 8
Garnish each float with a fresh mint sprig.
- 9
Serve immediately with a long spoon and a straw, letting the vibrant colors and flavors speak for themselves.
