Island Forager's Berry & Nut Crumble
Inspired by the resourcefulness of island life, this rustic crumble celebrates wild flavors. A sweet-tart berry base is crowned with a hearty, nutty oat topping, perfect for an evening treat or a fulfilling breakfast.

Directions
- 1
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly butter a small 6-inch oven-safe dish or individual ramekins.
- 2
In a medium bowl, combine the mixed berries, lemon juice, and 1 tablespoon of the brown sugar. Toss gently to coat.
- 3
Spread the berry mixture evenly into the prepared dish.
- 4
In a separate bowl, combine the rolled oats, chopped pecans, flour, cinnamon, the remaining brown sugar, and salt.
- 5
Add the chilled butter cubes to the dry ingredients. Using your fingertips or a pastry blender, cut the butter into the mixture until coarse crumbs form.
- 6
Sprinkle the oat and nut crumble topping evenly over the berries.
- 7
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the berry filling is bubbling around the edges.
