Diaper Duty Decadent Chocolate Fondant
A rich, gooey chocolate fondant that's surprisingly simple to make, perfect for those moments when you need a quick, comforting indulgence. The molten center oozes out dramatically with the first spoon, creating a truly spectacular dessert experience.

Directions
- 1
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease four 4-ounce ramekins very well with butter and dust lightly with flour, tapping out any excess.
- 2
In a heatproof bowl set over a saucepan of simmering water (bain-marie), melt the butter and chopped dark chocolate together, stirring occasionally until smooth.
- 3
Remove the bowl from the heat and let it cool slightly for a few minutes.
- 4
In a separate medium bowl, whisk together the whole eggs, egg yolks, and granulated sugar until light in color and slightly foamy.
- 5
Gradually fold the cooled chocolate mixture into the egg mixture until thoroughly combined.
- 6
Sift the flour and salt over the chocolate mixture and gently fold until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- 7
Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins. Place the ramekins on a baking sheet.
- 8
Bake for 12-14 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center remains slightly wobbly when gently shaken. This wobble indicates the molten core.
- 9
Carefully remove from the oven and let cool for 1-2 minutes before inverting each fondant onto a serving plate.
- 10
Dust generously with confectioners' sugar. Serve immediately with fresh raspberries or a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a delightful contrast.
