Inspired by the warmth of Hawaiian hospitality and Lilo's gentle nature, these individual tarts feature a sweet, creamy tropical filling nestled in a flaky crust. A perfect dessert to share, they evoke sunny island breezes and the joy of simple pleasures.

In a medium saucepan, whisk together sweetened condensed milk, coconut cream, passion fruit puree, egg yolks, and cornstarch until smooth.

Cook over medium-low heat, stirring constantly, for 8-10 minutes, or until the mixture thickens significantly and coats the back of a spoon.

Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.

Pour the warm filling into a heatproof bowl; press a piece of plastic wrap directly onto the surface of the filling to prevent a skin from forming.
