Dragon Warrior Dumplings
These savory dumplings are a testament to the might and flavor of a true hero. Pan-fried to a golden crisp on one side and steamed to tender perfection, they are filled with a juicy pork and vegetable mixture. A balanced meal that's both hearty and surprisingly light, perfect for training or a celebratory feast.

Directions
- 1
In a large bowl, combine ground pork, Napa cabbage, water chestnuts, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, and white pepper. Mix until just combined; do not overmix.
- 2
To fill each dumpling, place about 1 teaspoon of filling in the center of a wrapper. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water.
- 3
Fold the wrapper in half to form a semi-circle. Pinch the top edge together, then create small pleats along the curved edge, pressing firmly to seal.
- 4
Heat the neutral oil in a large non-stick skillet with a lid over medium-high heat. Arrange dumplings in a single layer, ensuring they don't touch.
- 5
Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the bottoms are golden brown and crisp.
- 6
Carefully pour 1/2 cup of cold water into the skillet. Immediately cover with the lid and reduce heat to medium-low.
- 7
Steam for 8-10 minutes, or until the pork filling is cooked through and the wrappers are translucent.
- 8
Remove the lid and increase heat to medium-high for 1-2 minutes to crisp up the bottoms again, if desired.
- 9
Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce components on the side.
