Sacred Peach Tree Dumplings
Inspired by mystical fruits, these golden-fried dumplings are filled with a fragrant blend of sweet and savory elements. The crispy exterior gives way to a soft, flavorful filling, making them an irresistible snack or appetizer. They are perfect for sharing during festive gatherings.

Directions
- 1
In a large bowl, combine ground pork, water chestnuts, green onions, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, and white pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
- 2
To assemble the dumplings, place about one teaspoon of the filling in the center of a dumpling wrapper.
- 3
Moisten the edges of the wrapper with a little water using your finger.
- 4
Fold the wrapper in half to form a semicircle, pressing the edges together to seal. You can crimp the edges for a decorative finish.
- 5
Place the assembled dumplings on a parchment-lined tray, ensuring they do not touch.
- 6
In a large skillet or wok, heat 1/2 inch of vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
- 7
Carefully place dumplings in the hot oil, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Fry in batches until the bottoms are golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes.
- 8
Reduce heat to medium. Add 1/4 cup of water to the skillet and immediately cover with a lid. Steam the dumplings for 5-7 minutes, or until the pork filling is cooked through.
- 9
Remove the lid and continue to cook for another 1-2 minutes until any remaining water evaporates and the bottoms are extra crispy again.
- 10
Transfer fried dumplings to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
- 11
Serve hot with sweet chili dipping sauce.
