Hidden World Glow-Berry Tartlets
These individual tartlets capture the essence of the luminous Hidden World. A delicate shortbread crust cradles a bright and tangy berry filling, topped with a shimmer of edible glitter. They are a delightful blend of sweet and tart, perfect for a special occasion or a whimsical dessert.

Directions
- 1
To make the crust, combine flour, sugar, and salt in a food processor. Add chilled butter and pulse until coarse crumbs form.
- 2
Gradually add ice water, one tablespoon at a time, pulsing until the dough just comes together. Do not overmix.
- 3
Gather dough into a ball, flatten slightly, wrap in plastic, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- 4
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 12-cup mini muffin tin or 6 individual tartlet pans.
- 5
On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to 1/8-inch thickness. Cut out circles using a cookie cutter slightly larger than your tartlet molds.
- 6
Gently press dough circles into the muffin tin cups or tartlet pans. Prick the bottoms with a fork.
- 7
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until lightly golden. Remove from oven and let cool slightly in the pans before carefully removing to a wire rack.
- 8
For the filling, combine mixed berries, granulated sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice in a small saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the mixture thickens and berries soften, about 5-7 minutes.
- 9
Remove from heat and stir in almond extract. Let cool completely.
- 10
Once crusts are cool, spoon the berry filling into each tartlet shell. Chill for at least 30 minutes.
- 11
Before serving, lightly dust with edible glitter for a magical "glow" effect.
