Gobber's Golden Mead Muffins
Inspired by a trusty friend and warm fireside gatherings, these golden mead muffins are a delightful treat. Infused with honey and a hint of warm spices, they are moist, sweet, and comforting, perfect for sharing with close companions.

Directions
- 1
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper liners or grease generously.
- 2
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- 3
In a separate medium bowl, whisk the egg, milk, honey, melted butter, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- 4
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir with a spatula until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; a few lumps are fine.
- 5
Divide the batter evenly among the 12 muffin cups, filling each about two-thirds full.
- 6
Bake for 18-22 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.
- 7
Let the muffins cool in the muffin tin for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
- 8
Serve warm or at room temperature. These muffins are best enjoyed fresh.
