Supreme Leader's Sticky Situation Ribs
These fall-off-the-bone tender ribs are coated in a rich, sweet, and sticky sauce with a hint of tang, perfectly balancing savory and sweet. Slow-cooked to perfection, they're a delicious tribute to a grand, albeit misguided, leader's over-the-top personality. Ideal for a family dinner or a friendly gathering.

Directions
- 1
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- 2
In a small bowl, combine the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper (if using), black pepper, and salt. This is your dry rub.
- 3
Pat the ribs dry with paper towels. Generously rub the spice mixture all over both sides of the ribs.
- 4
Place the seasoned ribs on a large baking sheet lined with foil, meaty side up. Cover tightly with another layer of foil.
- 5
Bake for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the ribs are very tender. They should be flexible when lifted.
- 6
While the ribs are baking, prepare the sticky sauce: In a medium saucepan, whisk together the apple cider vinegar, ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, and liquid smoke (if using).
- 7
Bring the sauce to a simmer over medium heat, then reduce the heat to low and cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has thickened slightly.
- 8
Once the ribs are tender, remove them from the oven. Increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C).
- 9
Carefully unwrap the ribs and brush them liberally with the sticky sauce. Return the ribs to the oven, uncovered.
- 10
Bake for another 15-20 minutes, brushing with more sauce every 5-7 minutes, until the sauce is caramelized and bubbly. Keep a close eye to prevent burning.
- 11
Remove from oven, let rest for 5-10 minutes, then slice the ribs between the bones and serve hot.
