Directions

  1. 1

Cook the egg noodles according to package directions until al dente. Drain well and set aside.

  2. 2

In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, oyster sauce, five-spice powder, and red pepper flakes. Set aside.

  3. 3

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat until shimmering.

  4. 4

Add the sliced chicken breast and stir-fry for 3-5 minutes, until cooked through and lightly browned. Remove chicken and set aside.

  5. 5

Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil to the skillet. Add the red bell pepper and broccoli florets and stir-fry for 4-6 minutes, until tender-crisp.

  6. 6

Add the minced garlic to the vegetables and stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.

  7. 7

Return the cooked chicken to the skillet along with the drained noodles. Pour the prepared sauce over everything.

  8. 8

Toss continuously for 2-3 minutes, ensuring the noodles, chicken, and vegetables are evenly coated in the sauce and heated through.

  9. 9

Remove from heat, garnish with sliced green onions, and serve immediately.
